Hospitaliza­tion

Covers hospitalization fees in various establishments. For example:

Vision care

Covers the most common vision care expenses. For example:

Prescription drugs

Home care

Covers home care services to help your employees recover quickly (after an operation, for example).

Gender affirmation

Reimburses certain fees not covered by public health insurance plans for people who identify as trans or non-binary. For example:

Travel and trip cancellation

Covers certain expenses resulting from a medical emergency out of your province of residence. For example:

  • Emergency healthcare
  • Repatriation

Includes 24/7 travel assistance, anywhere in the world.

Dental care

Covers expenses for common dental treatments and procedures. For example:

  • Preventive care (checkups, cleanings)
  • Basic care (restorations, endodontics, periodontics)
  • Major restorative care (removable or fixed dentures, crowns)
  • Orthodontics

Disability

Covers a portion of an employee's income in the event of a short or long-term disability.

Includes access to the manager assistance program.

Life

Pays a tax-free lump sum to beneficiaries in the event of natural or accidental death.

Employees can top up this coverage with optional life insurance. They can also keep their coverage when they retire or leave their job.

Critical illness

Pays a benefit to employees who are diagnosed with a critical illness or have to undergo an eligible surgical procedure. This can help them focus on their recovery.

Accidental death and dismember­ment

Pays a benefit in the event of accidental death, dismemberment or loss of sight. In the case of a death, this amount is paid on top of the life insurance lump sum.

Optional

Lets plan members increase the amount of insurance they have or add benefits that aren't included in their basic plan. There are 3 types of optional benefits:

  • Accidental death and dismemberment insurance
