History

Today's Caisse Desjardins Godefroy is the result of the merger of the Caisse populaire de St-Grégoire and Caisse populaire de St-Célestin, in january 2005.

  • In 1939, the Caisse populaire de St-Grégoire was founded by Élisée Beaulac on his property.
  • Founded in 2005, the Caisse Desjardins Godefroy was created by the merger of the Caisse populaire de St-Grégoire and the Caisse populaire de St-Célestin.
  • In 2006, the Caisse Desjardins Godefroy merged with the Caisse populaire de Ste-Gertrude.
  • On January 1, 2008, the Caisse Desjardins Godefroy merged with the Caisse populaire de Bécancour, the Caisse populaire de Précieux-Sang and the Caisse populaire de Ste-Angèle-de-Laval.
  • On January 1, 2011, the Caisse Desjardins Godefroy merged with the Caisse populaire Desjardins du Canton d'Aston.
  • On January 1, 2013, Caisse Desjardins Godefroy merged with Caisse populaire Desjardins de St-Sylvère.
