Youth

Our young people are among our top priorities at Caisse de l'Énergie et des Ressources naturelles, where "Building tomorrow's workforce" officially became our #1 cause in 2018. Our goal is to help increase graduation rates during a labour shortage that will strongly impact the natural resources sector in the coming years.

The caisse has a bold community involvement plan that promotes working in the natural resources sector.

Building tomorrow's workforce

Caisse de l'Énergie et des Ressources naturelles wants to encourage students to pursue their post-secondary studies in a program related to the natural resources industry (mining, metals, energy, forest products) and promote working in the sector.

That's why, thanks to our financial support tools (Community Development Fund, sponsorships and donations) the caisse puts various programs in place to give students a financial boost and help them achieve their career goals, in particular through partnering students with businesses.

Board Succession program

The Board Succession program gives caisse members the chance to sit on the caisse's board of directors, represent the caisse's members and contribute to its performance. Intern directors play an active role on the board but have no voting rights. The caisse's board of directors sets the term of the appointment.
