The Caisse Desjardins de Sillery-Saint-Louis-de-France is a financial services cooperative and a member of Desjardins Group. Its priority is to offer financial services adapted to all the needs of individuals, business and corporate entities.

The year 2018 marks Desjardins's 75th anniversary in our community. Caisse populaire Desjardins de Sillery was created in 1943 by Robert Bellefeuille, followed by Caisse populaire Desjardins de Saint-Yves in 1956 by Louis Fortin, and Caisse populaire Desjardins de Saint-Louis-de-France in 1960 by Bernard Gagné.
Today's Caisse Desjardins de Sillery—Saint-Louis-de-France is the result of the merger of Caisse populaire Desjardins de Saint-Yves and Caisse populaire Desjardins de Sillery in 1998, and Caisse populaire Saint-Louis-de-France in 2006.
After more than 75 years, the caisse is still a cooperative in both the way it operates and the way it relates to its members. And it remains a driving force for local economy. Caisse Desjardins de Sillery—Saint-Louis-de-France is proud to have remained close to members, clients and community organizations during this time.

1943: Caisse populaire Desjardins de Sillery is founded by Robert Bellefeuille. Until 1952, it is located in the old Sillery City Hall.
1954: A new building is inaugurated at 1394 Maguire.
1956: Caisse populaire de Saint-Yves is founded by Louis Fortin (in Parc Falaise shopping centre).
1960: Caisse populaire Desjardins de Saint-Louis-de-France is founded by Bernard Gagné. It is located at 2900 chemin Saint-Louis, in Place Saint-Louis de France.
1979: The first expansion is made to the Caisse Desjardins de Sillery building.
1986: The first ATM in installed in the area.
1993: Caisse Desjardins de Sillery celebrates its 50th anniversary.
1994: Caisse populaire Desjardins de Silery reaches assets of $100 M.
1998: Caisse populaire de Saint-Yves and Caisse populaire Desjardins de Sillery merge.
1999 and 2000: Caisse Desjardins de Sillery comes in first among all Desjardins caisses in a provincial performance contest.
2001: Caisse Desjardins de Sillery institutes the Community Development Fund.
2004: Caisse Desjardins de Sillery receives the Prix de la qualité du Mouvement Desjardins.
2005: Caisse Desjardins de Sillery and Caisse populaire Desjardins de Saint-Louis-de-France (Sainte-Foy) merge.
2010: Caisse Desjardins de Sillery—Saint-Louis-de-France exceeds $500 million in assets.
2011: Caisse Desjardins de Sillery—Saint-Louis-de-France is rated among the 28th best caisses for their contribution to Desjardins Group's business results in terms of savings and investments.
2012: Caisse Desjardins de Sillery—Saint-Louis-de-France inaugurates its new head office at 1444 Maguire.
Caisse Desjardins Sillery—Saint-Louis-de-France receives an award from Commission des partenaires du marché du travail du Québec for the quality of its training initiatives, a first for Desjardins Group and its over 420 caisses.
2013: Caisse Desjardins Sillery—Saint-Louis-de-France is recognized by its peers at the Annual Regional General Meeting of 20 regional caisses as the leader in the Cooperation and Commitment category thanks to the volunteer work performed by its staff.
2016: Caisse Desjardins de Sillery—Saint-Louis-de-France celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Community Development Fund and over $1 million returned to the community.
2018: Desjardins's 75th anniversary in our community.
