At Desjardins, we take several measures to protect your personal information:
- We do not divulge any information about our members without their consent.
- Desjardins employees are not authorized to ask for your password or PIN.
- We recommend you never disclose any personal information over the phone, including debit card numbers, birthdates and social insurance numbers, except during the usual authentication procedure when you contact us.
- Desjardins does not solicit members for personal and confidential information.
- If Desjardins suspects fraudulent use of your credit card, our fraud prevention team, which is equipped with an automated system, may call you to confirm the transactions on your account. No personal questions about your PIN, card number, etc. will be asked because Desjardins already has this information.
