Quebec: Employment by Sector during COVID-19

Quebec’s economy went into shock when services deemed non-essential were closed on March 25. In February, Quebec’s unemployment rate had hit a record low of 4.5 %. Yet, within a few weeks, the labour market shifted from overheating to a state of partial paralysis.
