Another surge for the bitcoin

The bitcoin got a lot of attention in 2013, when its value shot up from US$100 to more than US$1,000. Its momentum petered out and a lengthy correction ensued in 2014. After stabilizing at around US$250 in 2015, the bitcoin began to appreciate again, recently revisiting the US$1,000 mark.
