Isabelle Laprise appointed Manager and Head of Responsible Investment at Desjardins Global Asset Management
Montreal, September 17, 2024 – Nicolas Richard, President and Chief Operating Officer of Desjardins Global Asset Management (DGAM), is pleased to announce the appointment of Isabelle Laprise as Manager and Head of Responsible Investment. Isabelle reports to DGAM's President and Chief Operating Officer and has also joined the Executive Committee. She started her new role on September 3.
Isabelle has more than 20 years of investment experience, including in research, responsible investment and institutional asset management. She has held a number of key positions at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. Until recently, she served as Quebec Lead, Sustainable Investment Strategy and Senior Institutional Portfolio Manager at Jarislowsky Fraser.
In addition to her accomplished proficiency, Isabelle has remarkable people and leadership skills and is very committed to responsible investment and its ecosystem. Her arrival will further enhance DGAM's expertise, and the added experience she brings to her new team is a major asset for the organization as well as the members and clients
