An environmental specialist joins DID's Board of Directors

Développement international Desjardins (DID) is proud to welcome Jean Lebel to its Board of Directors. Mr. Lebel holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences and was President of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) from 2013 to 2023, where he has served as an expert and manager since 1997. Over the course of his rich career, he has also authored numerous publications and acted as member or chair of several committees, including the Global Centre for Pluralism, the Advisory Committee of the Economic Forum of the Americas, the Inclusive Growth Council of the World Economic Forum, the Executive Board of Grand Challenges Canada, the Executive Committee of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research and the International Institute for Sustainable Development.

Gerardo Almaguer, CEO of DID, joins the other members of the Board and DID’s entire team in enthusiastically welcoming this new contributor to the evolution and success of our organization.
