The Desjardins Foundation's partner organizations
We team up with organizations that support young people in school and give parents and teachers a helping hand.
Our partners
Academos
We've partnered with Academos, a social network that helps young people ages 14 to 30 understand what the working world is really like and find their dream career. With our support, Academos has developed a mentoring platform, where users can chat with professionals and parents can find content to support their kids with their academic and career paths.
Alloprof Parents
With our support, Alloprof Parents provides parents with many free tools to help their children through elementary school and high school. Parents can read articles, download tools, watch videos, read expert columns and get personal advice from specialists via phone, email and Messenger.
Association des bibliothèques publiques du Québec
We're helping the Association des bibliothèques publiques du Québec roll out its Biblio-Jeux program across the province. Created by speech therapists, the program uses family-friendly games to improve the speaking and writing skills of children ages 6 months to 12 years. Some libraries even partner with experts who offer help playing the games.
Institut Pacifique
We're helping Institut Pacifique redesign and launch its youth program, Vers le pacifique. Used in daycares and elementary schools in Quebec and elsewhere, the program helps children learn social skills like managing emotions, resolving conflicts and mediating disputes. The institute also offers free tools for families.
Youth in Mind Foundation
We've partnered with Youth in Mind, a foundation that focuses on preventing mental health issues among young people ages 11 to 18. Together, we're raising mental health awareness among high school students and providing resources for parents, young people and teachers in Quebec.
