The Desjardins Foundation's partner organizations

We team up with organizations that support young people in school and give parents and teachers a helping hand.

Our partners

Academos

We've partnered with Academos, a social network that helps young people ages 14 to 30 understand what the working world is really like and find their dream career. With our support, Academos has developed a mentoring platform, where users can chat with professionals and parents can find content to support their kids with their academic and career paths.

Alloprof Parents

With our support, Alloprof Parents provides parents with many free tools to help their children through elementary school and high school. Parents can read articles, download tools, watch videos, read expert columns and get personal advice from specialists via phone, email and Messenger.

Association des bibliothèques publiques du Québec

We're helping the Association des bibliothèques publiques du Québec roll out its Biblio-Jeux program across the province. Created by speech therapists, the program uses family-friendly games to improve the speaking and writing skills of children ages 6 months to 12 years. Some libraries even partner with experts who offer help playing the games.

Auberges du cœur

Young people staying in Auberges du cœur youth shelters can find the resources they need to stay in school. Our donations are used to meet each shelter's specific needs, like tutoring, school supplies or a computer.

Canadian Political Science Association

The Canadian Political Science Association offers internships at the parliament in Ottawa for young Canadian university graduates, giving them a chance to experience Canadian democracy.

CFER Network

We encourage young people participating in the CFER Network to reach their full potential through various initiatives.

Éducaloi

We ensure Éducaloi can continue providing free legal information in schools to nearly 50,000 people each year and creating accessible content on important youth issues.

Fondation Sport-études

We support CEGEP and university student athletes who work hard to study full-time while playing high-level sports.

Institut Pacifique

We're helping Institut Pacifique redesign and launch its youth program, Vers le pacifique. Used in daycares and elementary schools in Quebec and elsewhere, the program helps children learn social skills like managing emotions, resolving conflicts and mediating disputes. The institute also offers free tools for families.

Jeunes musiciens du monde

We help this organization use its musical and social teaching methods to let thousands of at-risk children and teens enjoy learning music and reach their full potential.

Kids Help Phone

Our partnership with Kids Help Phone provides young people with better access to support and counselling with they need it. Available 24/7 across Canada, Kids Help Phone offers professional guidance and information to kids who need someone to talk to.

Let's Talk Science

We're improving the programs offered by Let's Talk Science, an organization that supports young people from preschool through high school. They offer workshops in science, technology, engineering and math, which help students enhance their critical thinking and creative skills.

Lire et faire lire

Lire et faire lire promotes a love of reading and books among children ages 4 to 8 while strengthening connections between generations. We've helped the organization expand its program and reach more children in Quebec and Ontario.

Literacy Foundation

We contribute to the Literacy Foundation's bursary program. The Go Getters' bursaries recognize the hard work of young people who successfully completed a literacy process.

New Pathways Foundation

We support First Nations youth through the BECOME Scholarships, which encourage people ages 12 to 35 to stay in or go back to school.

TELUS Friendly Future Foundation

The TELUS Friendly Future Foundation® supports more than 500 charities that offer education and health programs, many through technology. Together, we've helped over 2 million young Canadians succeed in school.

Youth in Mind Foundation

We've partnered with Youth in Mind, a foundation that focuses on preventing mental health issues among young people ages 11 to 18. Together, we're raising mental health awareness among high school students and providing resources for parents, young people and teachers in Quebec.
