FAQ about the situation at Canada Post
Have questions about how the situation at Canada Post affects Desjardins? Find answers in our FAQ.
General information
Just like every other business in Canada, we’re also feeling the impact of the situation at Canada Post, which has consequences that are beyond our control.
We know the situation is causing a great deal of inconvenience. We want to assure you that we’re doing everything we can to lessen the impact on our members and clients. We’re working hard to get documents and cards out as quickly as possible. We’re sending thousands of cards out every day using private courier services.
What you can do to reduce impacts
If you haven’t already done so, we recommend signing up for our online services. That way, you can log in to view your documents on Desjardins sites, like AccèsD or Desjardins Insurance.

All of the obligations in your contracts—including your financial obligations—are still in effect. You must comply with them despite the situation at Canada Post, so it’s important that you make your payments on time.
You don’t need to contact us or take any additional steps.
Information for cardholders
As a reminder, cards are valid until the last day of the expiry month. For example, if you have a card that expires in January, you can keep using it until January 31, 2025.
And if your card is damaged or doesn’t work, you can continue to use contactless payment on your mobile device and shop online.
