If I switch credit cards, will my minimum payment change?

If you got your current card after August 1, 2019, your minimum payment will be 5% on regular purchases, cash advances and interest calculated on the balance. Even if you change cards, your minimum payment percentage won't change.

If you have a low-rate card that you started using before August 1, 2019, your minimum payment percentage is under 5%. If you switch cards, your minimum payment percentage will go up to 5%.

Note that any monthly payments for Accord D financing and the option to pay in installments are included in the minimum payment.
